The EsySuit helped a lot in the surgical procedure for our Anterior total hip. It helped ease and decrease the prep time, draping time and number of drapes, as well as made assisting more possible by freeing up one of my hands from normally maintaining flexion of the knee, external rotation rotation of the hip and a touch of adduction of the operative leg. With both legs freely mobile, the operative leg was secured by the non operative leg in the ideal position for broaching the femur while freeing up one hand to suck blood to clear the canal consistently and adjust retractors as needed to provide a mobile window to protect the skin.
