Global co-promotion agreement MedEnvision and DePuy Synthes

Bringing OR Efficiency to the next level !

MedEnvision announces that MedEnvision and DePuy Synthes Sales, Inc, the Orthopaedics Company of Johnson & Johnson, have entered into a global co-promotion agreement for the MedEnvision products, “Gripper” and “EsySuit”.
This agreement provides for promotion of MedEnvisions innovative products with the robust DePuy Synthes ANTERIOR ADVANTAGE™ Hip Portfolio to help improve OR efficiency. MedEnvision’s Gripper and EsySuit provide operating room efficiency and cost savings, thereby supporting the global transition of hip replacement surgery to the outpatient setting, which allows these solutions to bring a cost effective, yet innovative opportunity for patient care.

Gripper, the assistant in the box Allows the surgeon to control the retractor without extra help from an assistant. Studies have shown that use of the Gripper can save 17 min per case which could lead to estimated savings of around $ 105,400 based on an averaged OR time cost of $62/min and surgeon volume of 100 cases/year*. In addition to improved cost efficiency, surgeons experience more control and serenity in the OR.

EsySuit, the one-minute draping system A significant amount of OR time can be saved by standardizing the draping procedure with the EsySuit. Not only is the draping time reduced to less than 1 minute but also the disinfection of the patient is much less time consuming. The EsySuit delivers a positive contribution to the optimal use of the resources and the associated efficient functioning of the OR. The EsySuit comes in 4 variations (Supine, Lateral, Table, and Knee).
