What's the minimum order?
The Gripper™ System consists of a reusable set of fixation points and the sterile single use Gripper™ device. The Gripper™ device comes in boxes of 10. The EsySuit™ range comes in boxes of 4 (Traction table) and 5 (all other EsySuit™ drapes).

Are MedEnvision products implant dependent?

How long does shipping take?

Are MedEnvision products approved in the US?
Yes. The Gripper™ system, the EsySuit™ range and Accessories are approved in the US, as well as in Europe, Australia, Singapore and South-Korea.

How is the Gripper™ device sterilized?
The Gripper™ device is sterilized with Ethylene Oxide.
How is the Gripper™ device packaged?
The Gripper™ device is individually packaged in a double blister, each blister is individually sealed with a Tyvek lid. The smallest commercially available cardboard box of the Gripper™ System consists of 10 Gripper™ devices.
What is the shelf-life of the Gripper™ device?
The Gripper™ device has a validated shelf-life of 3 years.
How many Gripper™ devices are usually used in a case?
In 95% of the cases surgeons use 2 Gripper™ devices per case.
How can you adjust the tension on the Gripper™ device?
By pushing the blue button you can release and lock the mechanism inside. So when you push the blue button you can adjust the position and tension and when you release the blue button Gripper™ device will lock and stabilize the retractor.
What are the dimensions of the Gripper™ device?
The Gripper™ device is 13cm long, 4cm wide and 4cm high (including the locking handle).
The EsySuit™ Range
Can I really drape within 1 minute?
Yes you can. The EsySuit™ is made in such a way that with good training and some practical exercises, it can be applied within a minute.
Is the duration to disinfect the patient included in this minute?
The disinfection of the patient is not included in this timing. This is also reduced due to the specific application of EsySuit™ . For more detailed instructions, please study the videos on our website.
What is the CE-and FDA Classification of the EsySuit™ range?
The EsySuit™ range is Class I Sterile. For FDA this is Class II.
Is there an EsySuit™ range or is it only made for DAA THA?
We have a range of EsySuit™. These are for general use within the arthroplasty procedure. Supine, lateral and traction table for THA, Knee for UKA & TKA, shoulder for TSA. More info on our website.
How many EsySuits™ are there in one box?
The EsySuit™ supine, lateral and knee are single sterile packed per 5 in a box. The EsySuit™ Table is single sterile packed per 4pcs in a box.
Is the EsySuit™ safe and how many layers of fabric is it made of?
The EsySuit™ consists of 3 layers of material namely 2 impermeable layers of laminated 2SBL and a reinforcing and super absorbent top layer. This makes the EsySuit™ safe to use with increased tear and puncture resistance. Of course, you should always pay attention where you place the sharp tip of the heatened coagulation to avoid perforations.
Does the EsySuit™ contain Latex?
No the EsySuit™ is 100% Latex free.
Is there an incision foil integrated in the EsySuit™ and if so, is it iodized?
Yes, there is an incision foil integrated. Because of possible allergic reactions to Iodine, it is not iodized and therefore neutral. (Not applicable for the EsySuit Knee)
Do I need to use other drapes besides the EsySuit™ to drape the patient?
In principle, this is not necessary. Some surgeons still use an anesthesia drape to make a separation between the operating table and the anesthesia area.
What is the AAMI level for the EsySuit™?
The AAMI level is a level 4. Highest Fluid and Microbial Barrier Protection – Safeguards against bloodborne pathogens in critical areas.
